What should I do, if the item I won is defective or damaged?
Very few of our winners have problems with the items they have won; however, sometimes an item might be defective or may get damaged in transit. If this has happened, it is our goal to resolve your problem as quickly as possible, and to make you happy.
In the case of a small common problem, it might be worthwhile to first check the manufacturer´s website or call their helpline. Many small problems are easily solved without having to return the product.
In the event that the item you received is defective, please contact our Customer Service Dept and we´ll tell you what to do next. Please, let us know the auction ID and the serial number of the product, as these help us to deal with your problem more quickly.
We work with many suppliers who are happy to help identify any problems and to replace defective items, if necessary.
Please don´t send the item back to us without contacting us first. Doing so will mean that it takes longer to replace your item. If your item does need replacing, we´ll contact you and let you know what to do.
Do you offer a standard guarantee on the products auctioned?
The warranties provided on items may vary depending on the type of item that you win. Please contact our Customer Service Dept if you have any questions about the warranties or guarantees that apply to an item that you´ve won.
Can I return an item that I have won?
We want you to be happy with the item you have won, but if, for whatever reason you decide that you do not want the item, please contact our Customer Service Dept and we will explain what to do next. When you contact us, please make sure that you let us know the following:
Your user name.
The auction ID of the item you won.
The reason you want to return the item.
Please note that we can only offer a refund of the final price of the item that you paid and the shipping costs for delivery to you, providing that the item has not been damaged and is still in its original packaging.
**Please note that we are unable to refund the cost of any bids placed during the auction or the return shipping costs.
An exception to the right to return is audio or video recordings or computer software that the customer has unsealed. These items are not eligible for return or refund.
Can I get a refund on an item that I have won?
Within 14 days of delivery, if you decide you no longer want the item, we will be happy to refund the final price that you paid and the delivery costs to you, providing the item has not been damaged and is still in its original packaging. Please contact our Customer Service Dept for details of how to proceed.
**Note that we are unable to refund the cost of any bids placed during the auction or the return shipping costs.
